Money Changing

Government
The city of Sarra is ruled by its Baron or Baroness. The post is usually inherited by the first born of the previous Baron of House Sarrat, who is related to the Crown through the Unsworth line. The current Baron is Lord Gamril Sarrat, Baron of Sarra.
The Baron appoints all of the major positions in the city save those of the clergy.
The Lord Exchequer presides over the city’s bureaucracy. This bureaucracy is devoted primarily to the maintenance of the city treasury and the collection of taxes.
The Lord High Magistrate presides over the city’s court system. He appoints lesser magistrates for each of the city’s districts.
The Lord of the Watch presides over the city’s militia and local enforcement of the Baron’s law.
The Lord of the Harbor presides over the city’s harbor watch and collects duties and tariffs in the Baron’s name.
The Lord Herald heads the defense of the inner keep and is the keeper of all the city’s records.

Dancing Trout: A mean inn in the harbor district that only caters to rough folk of all races.
Otter & Ox: A comfortable inn near the market district that caters to those that like comfortable beds and good tune with dinner.
Cooper’s Hand: A modest inn in the city’s mercantile district.
Traveler’s Boot: Modest inn near the city’s southern gate that caters to travelers. Known and named for the boot that gets passed around most nights for tale-telling.
