The Lord Constable maintains the town’s militia. Militia service is mandatory for all adults aged 16-30 who reside in the city. Militia service may only take place on weekends or during special occasions, but any adult on the rolls could be called.
The Rivermaster presides over the town’s river harbor watch and collects duties and tariffs in the Council’s name.
