Rosaela (ro-SAY-la) is the creator and protector of The Vale Folk (aka the halfling race).

Dogma

Rosaela espouses harmony within the halfling race and stalwart defense against its enemies. She urges halflings to work with others but to stay true to their heritage. Most halflings form clost-knit communities wherever they gather, even within larger communities of other races. Opportunities are there to be seized—be adaptable and opportunistic.

Clergy and Temples

Clerics of Rosaela are concerned with preserving the halfling way of life. Her clergy also officiate at community functions such as weddings, funerals, etc. They are also active in planning for the community’s defense and in planning new ventures. Worshipers of Rosaela never hesitate to provide aid to their fellow halflings or their allies.

Temples to Rosaela often feature bountiful gardens and contain storehouses of food and other necessities. They also contain armories and can double as forts in times of trouble.

Appearance

Rosaela is a strong female halfling with striking red hair and flashing green eyes. She is dressed in brown and green and carries a gleaming short sword.

Obediences

Certain devout followers of Rosaela partake in daily rituals in order to receive a special boon from the goddess. Perform a useful work: clean a home, store some grain, brew a beer, etc. As you do so, keep the goddess and her precepts in mind—mindfulness is a virtue. Gain a +4 sacred bonus to Stealth, Bluff, Diplomacy, and Use Magic Device checks.
