Kurthaax is the brother of Saarask, the progenitor-god of the Urkhani (orcs). He is the god of pillage, plunder, and devastation. He is also a sometimes-lover of Graathira.

Dogma

Where Saarask often demands the death of one’s enemies as a show of strength, Kurthaax goes one further: he seeks to destroy them wholly, take all they once had, and pillage the rest. He destroys his enemies utterly, their families, and their friends. He seeks to take all in his path has his own.

Clergy and Temples

Kurthaax is often venerated in personal shrines, but seldom in anything bigger than that. Clerics are often called upon to lead special expeditionary forces to pillage or raid villages, forts, etc.

Appearance

Kurthaax is a powerfully built orc with four tusks and a mighty battleaxe, “Fleshripper”, that he carries at all times.

Obediences

Certain devout followers of Kurthaax perform daily rituals called “obediences” in order to gain special blessings from the deity. Take something that doesn’t belong to you—preferably in a violent fashion. Give thanks due to Kurthaax. Gain a +4 profane bonus to Intimidate and a +2 profane bonus to hit with axes (and their variants).
