Hrosk (ROHSK) is the brother of Skondir and often serves as a dark reflection of his more revered sibling.

Dogma

Hrosk is far less creative and far less inspired than his older brother, The Maker. However, he believes that sufficient toil will eventually bring about success. To this end, he finds any means necessary permissible for dwarves to achieve their ends—including criminal acts, acts of selfishness, and acts of enslavement to ensure that the proper amount of toil is achieved.

Clergy and Temples

Clerics of Hrosk are more popular the deeper underground one goes. Most surface-dwelling dwarves have nothing to do with the Dark Forge. Duergar have been known to follow Hrosk’s teachings as well.

Like those of his brother, each temple or shrine to Hrosk has a working forge. An anvil serves as the temple’s altar.

Appearance

Hrosk usually appears as a wiry dwarf, dressed in black and silver, wielding a light hammer. His dark hair is braided and his eyes burn with a dark blue flame.

Obediences

Certain followers of Hrosk perform a daily ritual to receive a special blessing from the deity. Work on some project, or have someone else work on something on your behalf. Gain insight with the power of toil. Gain a +4 profane bonus on all Craft, Profession, Appraise, and Knowledge skill checks.
