Glorindiel (glor-IN-dee-el) is a deity of The Saelfsidhedai (Elves). She is the goddess of doorways, portals, thresholds, and the transition from year to year.

Dogma

Glorindiel concerns herself with transitions. Change is a constant and Glorindiel can bless it or ignore it, depending upon the needs of Fate, Time, and the Gods.

Clergy and Temples

Shrines to Glorindiel are usually personal affairs and homage is paid during times of transition. Also, her symbol is often place on the lintel of elven homes as a blessing.

Clerics to Glorindiel are often called upon to witness times of great change, especially the celebration of the new year. They are also brought in to bless new homes.

Appearance

Glorindiel is usually depicted as a serious young elf maiden in a grey cloak with a staff on which a beam is balanced. Her eyes are silver stars.

Obediences

Certain followers of Glorindiel partake of “Obediences”, daily rituals that grant special boons from the deity. Find a doorway, threshold, or gateway. Contemplate on the goddess for an hour, considering the importance of transitions and change. Character may cast Open/Close and Arcane Lock as a wizard of their current level 1/day each. The character may consider herself at +2 CL for the casting of any summoning spell (Summon Monster, Summon Nature’s Ally, etc.).
