Government

The town of Glofthall is ruled by its Baron or Baroness. The current ruler is Angelet Glofthall.

The Lord Chancellor presides over the city’s bureaucracy. This bureaucracy is devoted primarily to the maintenance of the town treasury and the collection of taxes. The Lord Chancellor is also the keeper of all the town’s records.

The Lord Magistrate presides over the city’s court system.

The Lord Constable enforces the Baroness’ laws through his lesser constables.

Glofthall is also home of the Duke of Gloftmarch. From here, the Duke rules the central portion of Ornis, though the Baroness handles the administration of the city.

Points of Interest

The actual hold of Glofthall is in the center of the city on Baron’s Hill.

A trail leads west from Glofthall to a pass through the Slayt Mountains that arrives in Wycliff in Eacenia.
