The Crimson Cord Bylaws

1) Treasure	Division	4 shares; 1 share to each founding member and 1 share to Captain Alasir while he is employed by the Crimson Cord
1B) Treasure	Division	Magical items will be made available for purchase at resale value, according to the local market, to the 3 founding members first. If a personal magical item is to be used to mitigate the cost, the item(s) must be presented immediately at the time of exchange and made available for purchase by the remaining members as part of the current treasure haul.
1C) Treasure	Division	If there are disputed items among the treasure and an amenable solution is not reached, any single founding member can call for a “picking order” (in the interest of expediency). Order will be determined by drawn lots and will be strictly adhered to until all disputed items are claimed.
2) Group Funds	Credit	Rilka, Savaric, and Surm will deposit 10% of their shares into the Group Fund. The Crimson Cord group fund will extend credit for the purchase of items from the current treasure haul being divided with no interest charged assuming such a loan will not be a hindrance upon the daily operation costs of the Crimson Cord. If not repaid within one month, the Crimson Cord group fund will retain 85% of that members shares until such time as all debts to the group fund are made whole. A member will not be eligible for group fund credit during subsequent treasure divisions if said member still has an outstanding credit balance.
3) Bonus	Hazard Pay	A bonus of 1% of the total Group Fund deposit from shares earned during a “planned hazardous expedition” will be paid to volunteers that enter a “planned hazardous expedition” with the Crimson Cord to function as on-site guards / porters.
4) Upkeep	On-Duty	Room and board will be provided by the Crimson Cord during on-duty hours.
5) Gear	Basic	Higher quality gear acquired will be offered to the Captain to upgrade his cohort with the expectation that the exchanged / replaced gear be given to the Crimson Cord for resale.
6) Gear	Magic	Magical gear to be sold by the Crimson Cord will be offered to the Captain before the open market. The Crimson Cord will extend credit from group funds with no interest charged to the Captain for purposes of upgrading his cohort assuming such a loan will not be a hindrance upon the daily operation costs of the Crimson Cord.
