Braith
A city in the Leilioran Highlands, located on the northern panhandle of the nation. The deepwater harbor has given the town some prosperity, taking on a fair amount of sea traffic from Eacenia and beyond.
The people of Braith of deeply devoted to the god Hathras, Lord of the Winds, and his precepts—especially those involving the aid of travelers and the ensuring of a safe journey.

Money Changing
Agents may change coin to any denomination for a fee of 1%. This charge may be avoided if a member of a bank or a trade guild.
Government
The city of Braith is ruled by its Lord or Lady Mayor. The post is usually appointed by the Crown. The current Lord Mayor is Lord Uwan Farrell.
The Lord Mayor appoints all of the major positions in the city save those of the clergy.
The Lord Chamberlain presides over the city’s bureaucracy. This bureaucracy is devoted primarily to the maintenance of the city treasury and the collection of taxes. The Lord Chamberlain also heads the defense of the inner keep and is the keeper of all the city’s records.
The High Magistrate presides over the city’s court system. He appoints lesser magistrates for each of the city’s districts.
The Captain of the Watch presides over the city’s militia.
The Lord Sheriff maintains order and is responsible for the local enforcement of the Lord Mayor’s law.
The Harbormaster presides over the city’s harbor watch and collects duties and tariffs in the Lord Mayor’s name.
Points of Interest
Braith is known for its sizeable harbor. Within the harbor, on one of the outlying islands, is a well-maintained temple to Hathras (Lord of the Winds).
There is also a small shrine to Barthal maintained in honor of a fallen Paladin by the name of Maol Duin Baird (b. 173 – d. 210) who came from Braith.

Rydor’s Honor: A comfortable inn near the market district. Owned by a retired adventurer who named it for a fallen comrade.
White Horse Inn: A modest inn in the city’s mercantile district.
Chipped Flagon: Small inn near the city’s northern gate that caters to travelers.
Yawning Wyrm: Fancy inn near the city’s center.
