Surm’s Idea Rough Draft
Surm wants to hand pick adventuring teams to quest under the banner of the Fellowship. This is a new adventuring company Surm will start and the first few teams will be its foundation.
Surm wants to build a guild hall for these teams to be able to assemble at, rest, meet, make contact with other members, and share stories. The plan is that the fellowship hall will provide local contacts for work and to get assistance from other teams if needed. The environment should be one that encourages teams to help each other freely or at the very least, at an extremely reduced fee from what would be available with the locals.
The fellowship hall will have a manager to organize the day to day operations of a barracks and stables available to members. The manager will also be a contact point to facilitate members in need of making contact with teams or locals that can help.
It is Surm’s vision that the fellowship hall will become a gathering point and safe retreat for all members of the Fellowship. Also, that the members of the guild will become a family. Brothers and Sisters that will come to the assistance of a team in trouble. If a member is down and out, he knows he can get some kind of help at the hall. He will never go hungry and never be left to sleep in the rain.
In game terms, Surm will be attempting to recruit LN, LG, NN, and NG (specifically avoiding chaotic and evil) adventurers to join his new guild. He will attempt to hand pick and create teams with specific roles and fill those roles. He will attempt to train and cultivate and attitude of accommodation and camaraderie.
