Koram was a miner in an outfit owned by Rolgar Graniteshard, the nephew of a Thane. While mining about a year ago (508), he and his compatriots were attacked by a Ghorazagh before being able to acquire the rare mineral known as the Heart of the World. His leg was badly injured, but he managed to get away. His compatriots did not.

Koram now spends his time drinking at his designated table in the Lucky Cup inn.
