Bio:
Baroness Breya Marat of Ebongate is a cousin of the Queen of Borael, Beatrix Marat. She is the mother of three daughters, the Ladies Sia Marat, Peris Marat, and Daeva Marat. She is divorced; she and her husband split over his infidelities. Perrin Hearthbright, the former Baron of Ebongate, now resides in Sarra and occasionally visits the Lower Palace when the Baroness permits it.
The Baroness is a formidable woman, with an iron will, who rules the city with a focus on order. She fiercely defends what she perceives as hers and that includes the city of Ebongate. She is not without compassion, but she does not suffer fools gladly and she is dismayed at the corruption that has reared its ugly head in her city.
